Design and maintain management control systems, in order to monitor submitted and ongoing projects ensuring company’s best practices, both in Spanish projects and in projects developed abroad.

Primary responsibilities:

This three-year project is aimed primarily at increasing employment and entrepreneurial culture in the seven least developed regions of Romania, through support for start-ups with a non-agricultural profile in urban areas. To this end, Romanian people in the diaspora (in Spain, but also in other European countries) will be provided with access to information, business training, personalised guidance and counselling services, financial support and business development.

Romania has the second lowest business density in the EU-27, so it is important to put in place measures to try to reverse this situation. Indeed, a solution to the country’s severe economic downturn lies in encouraging entrepreneurship in disadvantaged areas, since the creation of new businesses not only guarantees stable incomes for their owners, but also facilitates access to the labour market for vulnerable people in the urban areas of Romania’s less developed regions (by increasing the number of small businesses), and generates socio-economic growth in those regions.

With the Acasa Plus project, a comprehensive support process will be carried out for beneficiaries (Romanians in the diaspora) so that they can set up their own businesses in Romania. For this purpose, first of all, a specific training programme will be implemented in entrepreneurship, delivered online to 400 people from the target group, so that they can develop their entrepreneurial skills. Once trained, participants in the program will present their business plans within a competition, in which the 48 best entrepreneurial projects will be selected.

In order to guarantee the success of these new businesses in Romania, the 48 selected participants will be provided with a comprehensive and personalised support of advice/consultancy and mentoring, offering them also a financing according to the needs of their business and up to a maximum of 40,000 euros.

If you are interested in participating in the activities of this project you must meet the following requirements/conditions:

• Be between 18 and 65 years old.
• To possess Romanian citizenship.
• Purpose of starting a non-agricultural business in Romania.
• Proof of residency outside Romania in the last 12 months.

Tools for Oral Communication in Foreign Languages”, funded under the ERASMUS programme in the area of strategic partnerships in adult education.

This new 24-month project aims to improve oral communication skills of adults in 4 languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese and German), through the development of training materials and the promotion of the interaction between users, which will be supported by an open-access and free online platform and a mobile application that will allow users to increase their skills in oral communication in a foreign language, while reinforcing their linguistic skills through contact with other users.

Grupo Método is a leading partner in this new initiative, which involves three other entities with extensive experience in the field of training and promoting foreign language communication from the United Kingdom, Austria and Portugal.

Finally, with the continuation of the DECO project, we will continue to contribute, through the implementation of various training actions, improving the key competences of vocational training students for their better labour market insertion.

The main purpose of iYOT project is to jointly develop, between partners from five EU countries,,en,Sweden and Slovenia,,en,Seminar 'Present and future of pharmaceutical biotechnology' this Friday in Burgos,,es, a user friendly distance counselling service to meet adults´ interests, skills, personal and occupational developments according to their available time (In Your Own Time), which is done through a web-based software system with an innovative mobile application (iYOT Software).

From March 20 to 25, Ljudska Univerza Ptuj, leader of the iYOT project, will host a training week aimed at contributing to the training of counselors.

It is a training course for professionals working in the field of education, whose main objective is to support the participants to acquire new knowledge in the field of distance counselling for adults, within a framework of European collaboration that will bring together a total of 25 professionals from 5 countries of the European Union (Spain, Portugal, Austria, Sweden and Slovenia).

During the training, Grupo Método will be responsible for explaining how the iYOT mobile application works, an innovative software support for remote counselling, developed within the framework of the project. The training session will reinforce and improve the performance of the iYOT App for its future launch, which can be downloaded free of charge from the App Store or Google Play by all those people interested in receiving information and / or professional guidance.

The training week will also provide an excellent opportunity to establish new contacts for future collaborations and to reinforce the joint work among the project partners.

It has been carried out a study of good practices of prevention and management of the risks of the excessive proliferation of insects detected in regions with similar characteristics in the territory of the European Union. This study reveals that the prevention of infection and the management of disease transmitters are configured as an essential component for their control in Europe.

Vectors are living organisms (especially insects) that can transmit infectious diseases between people, or animals to people. These diseases, according to the WHO, represent more than 17% of all infectious diseases and cause more than 1 million deaths every year.

For this reason, it is now necessary to implement measures for the prevention and integrated control of disease-transmitting insects, in order to make it more difficult and to reduce contact between the host (human and / or animal) and the vector of these diseases (insects, such as mosquitoes, black flies, ticks, horseflies, rat fleas, etc.), preventing in this way their propagation and transmission.

For this reason, and in view of this global panorama, MétodoEstudiosConsultores S.L.U. has participated in the development of the “Preliminary study on the risk of excessive growth of the insect population in the border area Romania – Bulgaria”. This study also included entities from Romania (SC Consultanta Metodo Romania, SC Market Research Cult SRL and SC SHIP SRL,pt) and Bulgaria.

This research is part of the project “Development and adoption of a joint institutionalized partnership with regard to the risk management of the excessive proliferation of insects affecting public health and safety in the cross-border region Romania -Bulgaria “, funded by Interreg V Romania-Bulgaria, with project code 15.3.1.016.

ROLE OF MÉTODO IN THE STUDY

The role of Método Estudios Consultores S.L.U. in this study has focused on identifying and analyzing the best practices implemented in the field of prevention and risk management of excessive insect proliferation. These are successful initiatives that have been implemented in different European regions. To this end, it has enjoyed the cooperation of important international experts of the most prestigious organizations at the forefront in the control of infectious disease vectors.

Also, thanks to these good practices, similar areas of study of disease-transmitting insect populations have been identified in order to serve as a model for entities in the cross – border area of Romania – Bulgaria.

In addition, a number of measures and / or actions have been taken to achieve a common institutional protocol aimed at preventing and managing the risks of insect proliferation affecting human and animal health.

Therefore, and thanks to this laborious study, the aim is to improve the prevention and risk management of the proliferation of insect populations, in order to face the important challenge that infectious diseases transmitted by insects mean for global public health.
