La Unión General de Trabajadores de Castilla y León ha puesto en marcha el estudio “Turismo industrial de Castilla y León: potencial segunda oportunidad para áreas industriales en declive”, with the aim of promoting the socioeconomic development of certain industrial zones that have suffered strong impacts or cyclical crises and that have led to the decline of their traditional industries,,es,This study is subsidized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Junta de Castilla y León,,es,and piloted in the sectoral working group of "Tourism,,es,Heritage Culture and Language "within the Foundation for Business Anchoring and Training for Employment in Castilla y León,,es. Este estudio está subvencionado por la Consejería de Cultura y Turismo de la Junta de Castilla y León, y pilotado en el grupo de trabajo sectorial de “Turismo, Patrimonio Cultura y Lengua” en el seno de la Fundación para el Anclaje Empresarial y la Formación para el Empleo en Castilla y León.
Concretamente, This research focuses on promoting the use and transformation of the industrial heritage of Castile and Leon in cultural interest goods with tourism use,,es,configuring industrial tourism as an element of revaluation of the territory,,es,this study has been divided into three major areas of analysis,,es,is going to carry out the,,es,characterization of the mining industrial heritage of Castilla y León,,es,In this case it is going to,,es, configurándose el turismo industrial como elemento de revalorización del territorio.

For this reason, este estudio se ha dividido en tres grandes áreas de análisis. En primer lugar, se va a llevar a cabo la caracterización del patrimonio industrial minero de Castilla y León. En este caso se va a:

• Catalog the Cultural Interest Assets and other special regimes for the protection of the most important mining industrial heritage of Castilla y León,,es,Select and analyze linked success stories,,es,totally or partially,,pt,with the valorization and diffusion of the mining industrial heritage in Castilla y León,,es,quantifying its economic and social impact,,es,To make an approximation of the state of the abandoned or disused mining basins,,es,located in the north of the provinces of León and Palencia,,es,they are going to propose,,es.
• Seleccionar y analizar casos de éxito vinculados, total o parcialmente, con la puesta en valor y difusión del patrimonio industrial minero en Castilla y León, cuantificando su impacto económico y social, etc.
• Realizar una aproximación del estado de las cuencas mineras abandonadas o en desuso, situadas en el norte de las provincias de León y Palencia.

Esta visión de futuro se centra en:

• Recoger buenas prácticas e iniciativas de éxito, dirigidas al aprovechamiento y reactivación de zonas mineras en declive y desarrolladas en el contexto europeo e internacional.
• Celebrar un encuentro interno de debate, denominado “Encuentro de Expertos/as vinculados/as al aprovechamiento turístico del patrimonio industrial minero de Castilla y León.
• Hold a public meeting of experts called "I Meeting of Industrial Mining Heritage",,es,is going to make a,,es,strategic analysis on industrial mining tourism in Castilla y León,,es,based on the framing of the tourism sector and the identification of innovative interests and trends,,es,This type of qualitative and quantitative analysis is divided into,,es,Analysis D.A.F.O,,pt,of industrial mining tourism in the territory of Castilla y León,,es,Analysis C.A.M.E,,pt.

Por último, se va a realizar un análisis estratégico sobre turismo industrial minero en Castilla y León, basado en la enmarcación del sector turístico y la identificación de intereses y tendencias innovadoras. Este tipo de análisis cualitativo y cuantitativo se divide en:

• Análisis D.A.F.O. del turismo industrial minero en el territorio de Castilla y León.
• Análisis C.A.M.E. del turismo industrial minero en el territorio de Castilla y León.
