IYOT meeting in Porto to begin defining the counselling app

During next week, on days 6th, 7th and 8th of September, we will be in the Portuguese city of Porto on the occasion of the third meeting of iYOT project (in Your Own Time), framed within the ERASMUS + programme and whose aim is to develop a mobile distance counselling service that meets the interests, skills and personal and occupational development of adults in accordance with their available time.

Previous meetings

The first meeting of iYOT project was held in Ptuj (Slovenia), on 1st and 2nd of October 2015. The second, on 24th and 25th of February 2016 in Vienna (Austria)

The aim of the meeting is to catch up on the project after its first year of implementation and determine the next steps to be performed, especially to complete the first outputs of the project (Guidelines and Training Plan Guideline Distance) as well as to start defining the mobile application that will offer educational and labour information and will put in contact counsellors with users seeking professional counselling, which represents Método main  responsibility in this project due to its experience and know-how in the development of technologies in the training and occupational field.

In the coming weeks, the first major join Intellectual Output of the project will be available: the Guidelines for mobile Guidance Counselling in adult education and labour market, addressed to adult educators, teachers, mentors and other workers in the training and employment area.
