Método, in partnership with Colombian Campaign Against Mines Association, han concluido con éxito un proyecto en Colombia, financiado por la Comisión Europea, cuyo objetivo es contribuir al fortalecimiento del Programa de Acción Integral Contra Minas Antipersona (PAICMA), through improved coordination of Integral Action against Antipersonnel Mines in the national and territorial level, thus achieving a decontamination or "liberation" of the lands affected by MAP (minas anti personal), MUSE (unexploded ordnance) and AEI (IEDs)”. With this decontamination, it is intended that human development, socio-economic and sustainable development of communities is not hindered by this circumstance.

¿Dónde se ha llevado a cabo el proyecto?

El proyecto se ha desarrollado en 78 municipalities of 22 subregions, belonging to the following departments: Bolivar, Santander, Arauca, Antioquia, Cauca, Tolima, Caqueta, Meta, Nariño y Putumayo.

Actuaciones del proyecto

Las principales acciones que se han llevado a cabo para este proyecto han sido:

  1. Construction of a national coordination scheme, departmental and municipal of the priority regions, as a result of capacity building actions, from documentation subministrada by PAICMA.
  2.
